Hi all! Does anyone know what the base size the current IG Heavy weapons teams is? I plan on buying the bases if I can so that I could use the left over HW from the box to use in my army
|
Doesn't matter what it is or what it is intended to do. If you add a chainsaw to it then it is instantly better!

I belive they are 60mm in diameter.
I'm looking for several myself for mortar crews but I refuse to buy multiple sets of the GW bags o'bases when I'm sure I can find them cheaper on t'internet.
Let us know if & where you can find them, please!

They sued to sell a bag of just the 60mm bases... Maybe some online store will still have them?
(I admit I vaguely complained then about needing 2 and having to buy 10 or 20...)

Most IG heavy weapons are supplied with 60mm bases for two models each. However, per the current IG FAQ you are supposed to pretend the models are mounted on separate 25mm bases regardless of how they are actually based.

Correct, you are supposed to pretend they are seperate, so I model them as such.
just get a bag-o-bases for $8 USD, you'd probably end up paying that much in shipping anyway...
