I have used Biovores and they haven't been very effective i play against my friends witch play Space Marines Eldar and Necron.
Most of the games i played where with the Necon player and the monolith's living metal rule made bio acid spore mines next to useless (because of the dispute of if it get to roll 2d6+3 for its penetrate roll) so i had to use the Toxin spore mine and it didn't do that great v.s. necron warriors. i don't see where the strength (if any) comes from the biovores because the biovores mines don't pack much of a punch for the cost of the biovore and mine.

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

they used to be ok, but now they are junk, better off with zoeys or fex's instead.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

I used them in three game's and they just managed to clutter up the table with spore mines so I'm not going to bother with them now.
