OK, so I'm looking to start a new army, one specifically designed to perform in tournaments.
My question for dakka is: which army?
I already play CSMs and Daemons for "funner" games.
The armies I'm looking at are (in alphabetical, not preferential, I'm neutral right now) Black Templars, Orks, and Sisters (probably with some help from He'stan, no, I don't want to debate it here).
So fill out the poll and, if you play any of these armies, go ahead and sell me.

And I just realized that I put this in rules accidentally instead of tactics.
Could someone move this, please?

I expect they'll move your post after they've rescued me from Iran.

Anyway, back on topic...

Out of the three you've given us, Orks are currently the best option for tournament play.

Actually, I've found that Daemons do very well in tournament play as well.

I'd like to see more Daemons in the tournaments I attended. Plus you already have it started.

Also, is cost a consideration? If so Witchhunters is much more expensive. Black Templar are cheap with a low model count and mostly cheap models.

If you do end up with Witchhunters make sure you are ok with not having Vulkan's ability to twin link, as not all tournaments will allow it.

With a large amount of very playable units Orks could be fun. I'll vote for Black Templar though, as I don't see them too often.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
