The figures look beautiful, but I'm put off by individual models in the various ranges. Has
anyone played the game and give an overview?

I have quite a few of the miniatures but not had a game yet.Try there forums as they have an English part.You will get your answer there.

Where's the best place for someone in the US to buy Hell Dorado figures?

I get all mine from Fantization miniatures. Get em now before they go outta production! Game's been canned by Asmodee at last talks... so the English Rulebook may not see light of day.

Every player chooses his faction. They has to spend 200 points.
The ground is divided into nine parts. We begin by making the ground by bids, each in his turn. Every character has a precise role, and it is necessary to know his opponent.
It is necessary to control the parts as much as possible at the end of the tour for ganger of the points. Various scenarii can be choisen.
Every faction is commanded by an officer (i play Asaliah, daemon of course, so beautiful). The characters are classified (troops, unique...). Some have special powers, thus it is necessary to master the characteristics of the characters. We activate figurines one after the other.
I find this brilliant game like a drug. And the figurines and the book of rules are both magnificent.. background also. And it is strategic. For me (I play AT43, W40K WFB, ANIMA Tcs in my club), it is the best.
