I want a rock solid List able to get a big head sart on points, progression goes 2 weeks @ 1k, 2 weeks @ 1,250, 2 weeks @ 1,650, and 2 @ 2250...

My 1k list is a no nonsense, well no sense list, tell me what you think Dakka!

Dragon Mage, Silver Wand, Guardian Phoenix
10 Archers
2 Tiranoc Chariots
5 Dragon Princes
5 Dragon Princes

Run everything into the enemy, get to them ASAP. I could switch out 5 DP's for a White Lion Charriot and a muso on the other DP unit... Let me know what you think is more

Also, would I be better served with a combat noble on a griffon?

Dragon Mages are quite brutal at lower points levels, just because so few people are capable of fielding anything capable of handling it below 2k.

The Dragon Mage setup is pretty standard - exactly the same I run when I play it.

I actually quite like this list. It's really fast and if you get charges off, can be absolutely devastating (I take it you'll run DPs and Chariots together).

Just be careful of warmachines. Definitely get in 1-2 RBTs @ the next level, though.

Yeah at the 1,250 Jump I add 2 bolt throwers and a great eagle (If I can have 3 rares at that point, if not it's 2 repeaters and the DP's go up to 6 man units )

< 2k you can only have 2 rares. So extra DPs, it is!

Yeah I guess I have to 'settle' on 2 extra DPs

my daughter likes the dragon mage. I could see where it would be outstanding at a lower level. At 2250 certain armies it does good and other armies it does not. I am sure that she will see the wisdom of that soon. We love the dragon princes and the lion chariot. Have not used the horse one so have no experience with it.

The regular Tiranoc Chariot is quite good as well. You won't be doing too much damage if you get mired in CC, but against smaller blocks of infantry, it should be able to do quite a bit of damage with impact hits alone. Still, it needs to really be run with some other unit to ensure that the charged unit is going to break.
