I like the Cannoness model, and I play Inquisition already... might as well get something that can serve as an ally. Anyway, she's setup as a tank jumper (who needs jetpacks when you can fly with your faith?), and I greenstuffed her hair because I think the bobcut looks HORRIBLE. Also, I covered up the bionic eye because it makes her look ugly.

When it came to actually painting her, she actually has about 3 coats of paint overall. First, I painted her hair brown... then black.. then white... and finally red. The face was originally a deeper colour, but I ended up choosing a really light colour. The armour was supposed to be red, but that was too ugly, so I went black, and finally some white with a heavy black wash to get a really cool grey colour. The hardest part of painting her was the eyelashes.

Anyways, she needs a name still. Not sure what to call her.

And forgive the glare on her cape. It's just the blue ink shining.

Any chance for a little bit lighter pic? The colors look kind of dim - is that how it really is? I like the conversion though - nice job on the GS hair.

My camera only has two settings for flash, brighter then the sun, or none. So I can't really take better pictures.

However, I managed to get some pictures in more colour neutral light, albeit kind of dark.

Use flash, but diffuse it. Just take a normal piece of typing paper, cut out a square(or whatever) and tape it over the flash. That way the flash fills in the dark spots but doesn't wash out everything else. That should help lighten things up.

Hey, that's a much better shot. Frankly, I really like the neutral color of her armor contrasting with the metal, blue of the cloak, and red of the purity seals. It's a little busy, but it works.

I would make the color of the shoulder armor trim not the same as the cloth. Other than that, it looks good.

Holy crap. Fiendcrackar, I did the technique you suggested again, for a different model (updating pics for one of my Big Meks)... and then flash... pop... smoke started coming out of my camera!

Funny thing is that the flash still works.... And it seems able to take pictures still. I don't know whether I should be scared.

Ha ha. My moms SLR does that. Sorry, should have warned you. The flash bulb actually heats up crazy hot, and can leave some nice brown burn marks on the paper. Try touching the flash when it goes off sometime and you'll definantly feel it.

I'll just pretend the model I was taking a pic of was so well painted that the camera set itself on fire...
