List total 2498. Origionally I wanted to run a big monster list with a dragon a manticore or two 3 hydras and just filler but didnt work out too well. got really shot up. I would like to fit a manticore into this list as well as some magic. i really like the lore of metal to combat heavy armor and such, I also wanna get the cauldren into a list as well because of its ussefullness.

I would really recommend fitting in at least 1 RBT if only to give you a bit more heavy-hitting firepower - you can probably get the points by dropping one of the units of Crossbowmen. Also, consider splitting the crossbowmen into units of 10 so you don't have wasted units.

If you had trouble getting shot up before, you're not gonna be much better off with this list, considering that your main fighting units have little to no armor.

Otherwise, I'm not too familiar with how the Khainite units run, someone else could fill in on the feasability of those units.

Drop the lance from the Lord, he has a magic weapon so he will never ever use the lance unless something destroys the Sword of Ruin, so it's just wasted points. You also have no ward save on your lord who can't hide in a unit, drop the armor of Darkness and give him the Reverse ward save amulet and then give him the Armor of blood if you still want a normal armor save. Same points but you'll probably live a heck of a lot longer.

Your spending 670+ points in 3 units of archers, that's kinda nuts. 4-5 units of 10 crossbowmen with no upgrades is probably the better way for you to go, even 5 of said unit will save you over 150+ points. Your crossbowmen are there to pepper your enemy so your opponent will want to kill them naturaly, a +1 CR banner isn't going to save your life on these guys but will give your opponent +100VP if he kills em in HTH. Don't give VPs away.

Now with your savings you can easily afford that RBT, heck drop too 4 units of archers and you can get 2 of them and still have points left over. If your being creative you might be able to shave 5 off each witch unit and create another 15 strong unit of witches. Oh and you can't have two War Banners, they are a magic item so your only allowed to have one so you got some upgrade points for the 3rd unit that way. Hope this helps.

One question whats a RBT XD. and I thought a war banner was a commen magic item and immune to the limit?

common magic items- still count as magic items and fall under limit(i find its stupid 2 lol there common for a reason but oh well)
