Subject: Wargear Question about Striking Scorpion Exarchs

Hello all. I came across something in my Eldar Codex unsure as to what they meant by it.
Exarch-WS:5 BS:5 S:3 T:3 W:1 I:6 A:2 LD:9 SV:3+
Mandiblasters: +1A
Chainsabres: Some exarchs train in the use of blades paired with ancient gauntlets that house twin-linked shuriken pistols, allowing them to level a storm of attacks at their foes. A model with chainsabres has +1 Attack and can re-roll all failed to hit and to wound rolls.
So my question is, the exarch has 2 base attacks, +1A for mandiblasters, then gains another attack if given chainsabres. Does he receive another attack for having 2 CC weapons?

I think that +1 attack granted by chainsabres is the bonous for having 2 CCW's.
Kinda like having dual pfists or dual lightning claws.

He would get 4 atk total, 5 on charge.
2base +1 from Mantiblasters and +1 for the Chainsabers; even though hey have 2 CC weapons they will not grant another extra atk. it is given in the description. 4 is good enough.

it doesn't entirely seem intended due to how cheap the chainsabres are but I'm not so sure there's a difference between Them and the Gauntlets of Ultramar.
Gauntlets: "These are a matched pair of power fists, They also contain a pair of integrated bolters that can be shot...."
Chainsabres: "Some Exarchs train in the use of blades paired with ancient gauntlets that house twin linked shuriken pistols, allowing them to level a storm of attacks at their foes."
seems to me like a blade paired with a pistol would entitle you to a bonus attack just as much as a power fist paired with a power fist.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

I'd say either 4 or 5 attacks. It's not clear so you get to choose.
I'm pretty sure about RAI in this case though so I choose 4.

In one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 6", kill a few guys with his flamer, assault 6", kill two more guys with his bayonet, flee 12", regroup when assaulted, react 6", kill one more guy with his bayonet and then flee another 12".
So in one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 42" and kill more than 5 people. At the same time a Chimera at top speed on a road can move 18"... |

Is the model armed with two single-handed weapons?
If not--and I don't see them--he gets 4 attacks.

ya thats how i took it. That the extra attack that they stated in the description was from the gauntlets w/pistols and didn't account for the two blades
