Where is this at in the rules. Someone brought up that a Warlock could fire the support weapon or act as the gunner in the Eldar guardian squad or a Eldar Support weapon platform.


Does this mean you could buy a thunderfire cannon, have a techmarine join it and he would be able to fire the cannon??

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Page 55 of the Rulebook, 3rd paragraph, last sentence.

Independent characters that join the unit, however, do not count as crew and cannot operate the guns.


Note that it also says that if they are an upgrade to the artillery unit, they can still fire it as normal. Also, if it says in the Codex that they can fire it, then the obviously can, as that takes precedence over the Rulebook.

Its not in the rules. So don't worry about it.
