I think that a nice upgrade to dakka would be to have the login on the front page. I have thought about it for a while, and this seems to be a good idea to me.

Should be ok, I'll swap out the registration form if someone has logged in to dakka in the past with the login form. This wont happen for a while but as and when we finish revising the home page I'll add it in.

Thank you, that's mighty kind of you to bother making a personal reply. I know you have to be swamped with stuff. I appreciate all your work on making Dakka my go-to site for 40k on the net. Even if I HAVE posted terrible things about search. I really do appreciate what you have made of the place.

Yeah the search really sucks. I have not put any time into it beyond the basics as I want to try and join the three different searches we have into one big search in the future, but due to the low level of usage it does not get as much priority as everything else.
