So my question is, how are they gonna stop this giant deceptidude? He's bigger and badder than Megatron, and the Autobots and humies don't have a super companion-cube to shove in his chest.

Unless in this one humanity is meant to be DOOOOMED.

Well normally they throw the Dinobots at him

but as they aren't going to be in this movie I'm not sure what the heck is going to happen. Going to be fun finding out though.

It's kind of an odd shape becuase it is 1 of 8 robots that become one really big robot. The Destructicons I think they were called, can't remember what the fully formed robots name was. I have a friend who is a hardcore collector and he talks about it a lot.

I think it was Devastator, but that name was already used for the tank decepticon in T'formers 1.

Devastator, the name of the original Decepticon Combiner/Gestalt/Whathaveyou, was used in the original movie. In the G1 series he was composed of six Decepticons called the Constructicons, named Scrapper, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scavenger, Bonecrusher, and Hook.

You can do that with Warhammer minis!

Simple, you grab the Kroq'gar on Carnesaur model (the Carnesaur is actually named Grim'loq, look in the Lizardboyz army book) and then you have it fight a bunch of Dreadnoughts.
Now the only problem is getting enough Dreadnoughts.

The only thing that worries me about the movie Is the whole decipticons in human forms called pretenders. I saw some film footage of people running in fear of a tall blonde in a white mini dress, I thought I had slipped back into bad 80's films. Soundwave is a giant satilite, that's pretty cool. Annoying wheelie is In, as is his stupid way of talking. And a new? female autobot that can slit into 3 motercycles is in. There was talk of grimloc being a Hummer, but it was false.

The Pretenders (no, not the 80's melodic duo with a couple of hits!) are pretty much hated through all of TF Fandom. It is unconfirmed as to whether Wheelie is as irritating in sound as he used to be. The three motorcycles is Arcee, who was the fem-bot pink car from the G1 cartoons (now updated). Grimlock was never supposed to be in this movie, but there were rumours that Soundwaves Earth mode was a Hummer.

So looking forwards to this, and I have been following development for about a year. (Yes, I am a nerds nerd!)

Arcee was actually supposed to be in the 1st movie already. There's a toy, she's a pink motorcycle and was supposed to have her 15 minutes of fame when that soldier character killed Blackout.

Ha. Yes, in the same way that Longarm, the tow truck dragging Bumblebee around, was also 'a Transformer in the movie'. Sorry, but taking a random vehicle in the movie for 10 minutes and giving it the name of a G1 Transformer doesnt count.... And they cant use the same explanation for Fracture!

Oh, and no-one killed Blackout. He rocks!

She was supposed to be in it but cut out. Then they replaced her with a regular motorcycle for that particular scene.

Oh, and Devestator was not the tank in the first movie, that is Brawl. the subtitle thing was a cock-up.

I'm wondering how they're gonna defeat both the Fallen and Devestator this time out. I like the look of Ravage, but I'm a little peturbed that all the new guys seem to be Decepticons. Where's a Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus or even (my fave TF ever) Blaster?

I also liked the pretenders back in the 80s. It was the Action Masters that I didn't like (Transformers who can't transform? Laaaame.)
