ive been seaching google, ask, and yahoo for a while but cant seem to find any space marine rhino conversions (search engine gods hate me). most of the conversions out the are SM to orks, SM to CSM, or rhino to wreck.

it doesnt seem like too many people convert thier rhinos, but i need some inspiration for my next conversion, so if you could send me a link or a pic, ill be happy

The current armies that uses Rhinos are generally what you listed ,minus some daemon / witch hunters. So its limited yes what variety you come across.

What do you have in mind about converting it? , any specific army you are using it for? We can start from there.

im thinking of putting on additional armor to create a bulkier and meaner look, or try converting it into the Damocles Command Rhino (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/damocles.htm) with some of the spare bitz i have, or scratch building my own mount to create the razorback turret, as you can see i have quite a few ideas, but no idea where to start

But you said you wanted to add extra armor, why not start with that? Or are you asking about materials used?
Normally conversions use lots of plasticard ( polystyrene cards , as well as polystyrene rods / tubes )

Can start from adding the armor / get familiar with cutting it , sizing , fitting etc etc. After thats done, can feel free to
create your personal style of Razorback turret.

yeah, in the process as of now, im wondering if anyones done this before, and maybe some links or pics, but what i found was alot of people out the convert chimeras and ill be using some of those ideas on my rhino, i think ill go with the spaced armor, then maybe add some auto reactive armor on all around like the kind on modern battle tanks, what do you think

If you want to pimp the rhino, get some of the chains that chaos vehicles come with, glue them on, and paint them gold. You can also buy rhine stones (or other fake/synthetic gems) at a lot of craft fairs/stores for cheep. You can then use them to spell out "playa" or "purga" or whatever other phrase comes to mind across the front of the rhino. The very same stores also tend to sell feathers, get a red or purple one and mount it like an antena towards the rear of the rhino.

That should make your rhino properly pimp.

I was trying to figure out a way to incorporate a disco ball, but I'm still working on that. Probably better for the interior of a land raider.

haha, thanks for the idea bout the chains, ill cut up one of my girlfriends neclaces (hope she doesnt notice) and throw on shovels axes and the stuff youd see on a tank during nam, doubht the SM will need to use them, but ill think of something,
