Just putting it out there. I've seen some very nice painted/played mech armies out there. Which one(s) do you like best?

Other suggestions?

I didn't include Rhino Rush/LR Spam/Tau lists as the armies listed are all movement based in their fluff as well as army choices.

Any I missed?

Edit: Due to unforseen changes (and the witchblade at my back), I have changed a few of the choices!

I went with Speed Freaks just cause red ones go faster. That whole concept as well as most anything Ork is hilarious.

Definately Speed Freaks or Saimhan.

The rest are mobile yes but they dont really emphasize on speed.

Speed Freak because red goes faster is so funny but cool.

Saimhan because wow... Sword Wind. sounds even cooler :"D

Just out of curiosity, why is Armored Company up there? If you're moving more than 6", you can't fire any guns. It's actually ideal for AC vehicles to not move at all, utilizing their long range and multitude of heavy weapons.

Yeah, Armored Company would be more of a General Mechanized force then a Fast Mechanized force.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

"But why doz da red onez go fasta?"
"Because we finks de do, dats why."

The justification that ork stuff works because they think it does may be the single greatest piece of 40K background writing ever. And speed freaks lets us indulge all of our Mad Max inspired imaginations.

Yeah, the spiky space elfs are a lot faster than the sit back and blast AC.

I voted for Ravenwing, because I like DA fluff.

I'm pretty sure that "Sword Wind" is the formation the Biel Tan Eldar use, not Saim Han.

Also seconding Dark Eldar. Yeah, the models suck, but they are hella fast and pack a ludicrous amount of firepower.

Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

Few new choices. It's multiple choice, so there's no wrong answer (except for Whitescars).

Thanks!

What do you mean Space Marines aren't movement based, based on fluff and army choices?

They're a highly mobile strike force, with lots of APCs, bikes, land speeders, jump packs, teleportation, etc.

If they don't qualify as "movement based," I don't know what does.

I think with the army choices that are given, it's pretty biased towards a certain fluff and movement. You can make your own poll about which SM Army makes the best use out of it's MSF choices.

And I don't like white scars = personal preference. I do like Ghengis Khan and Mongol Hordes though.
