The eye of terror.

You should glue together what YOU want to use.

What role will the speeders play in your army?

For stand-off anti-infantry with moderate anti-vehicle a Typhoon with a heavy bolter is good.

For anti-tank and annoyance multi-melta with heavy flamer is good (some like twin-multimelta).

For cheap, good anti-infantry firepower twin heavy bolter is good.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

The eye of terror.

Well, if you're just looking to sell them or trade them, minis that are completely unassembled are generally the most valuable.

Use magnets. Will raise resale value too.

I don't like Speeders period but use magnets as Steelmage99 said.

Multimelta comes to mind but Attack bikes can mount those for 10 less points and hide better.

I run mine in the multi-melta/heavy flamer Tornado configuration. That way they can threaten infantry or vehicles. Land speeders in the Typhoon configuration with the heavy bolter is a good stand-off configuration for light anti-armor or anti-infantry and an alternative to dakka predators. The assault cannon is overpriced in my view, and a land speeder with only a heavy bolter is too expensive for the pitiful damage it will put out.

Agreed with willydstyle. The most versatile configuration is multimelta/heavy flamer, able to take on tanks or infantry as needed. Unfortunately, it also operates close so they tend to be destroyed more often. The Typhoon with heavy bolter packs a lot of firepower, and can move 12" and still mow down infantry, but has the ability to take on tougher tanks and transports. The 48-36" range of the weapons means it can operate well at the back of the board. The twin heavy bolter speeder is cheap anti-infantry firepower, packing more in for the cost than a pair of attack bikes. Overall, magnets are your friends, to swap between the three.

Well, it's a bit too small to be a chimera and the autocannon looks really really weird like that. It's just glued on the front end, I wouldn't even do it like that in an Ork army.

The radar's a nice touch though...

I'd do an underslung autocannon if doing it like that. This is where magnets are good!

In 4e, it was assault cannon + heavy bolter that was most effective. Now with the price for assault cannons adjusted to match 4e effectiveness despite 5e's nerf on rending they're way over costed in that configuration.
I personally like the 2x heavy flamers build as I'm a pyro by nature and they're nasty against 4+ infantry.

I like the typhoon with HB option. Retains effectiveness from across the board (which is where I like my speeders, so they live longer), and forces my opponents to shoot his big-nasty guns at them to kill them, instead of shooting at my troops.

Nowadays, I just give them H Bolters, and forget the rest of the options. Actually nowadays I've stopped running Land speeders altogether. They suck.

True, I only use them for gaks and giggles. 5e really hurt squadrons by making immobilize=destroyed.

My RW speeders all get MM+ HF in my support squadrons.

It is great ahving a MM that can move 12 and still shoot. When my speeders are combined with all of my MM Attack bikes I have a lot of fast anti-tank on the board. The HFs on the speeders help out if there are no tanks nearby to melt...they can just go raost some infantry.

btw... I HATE the 2x HF version. In order to use both in the same turn you have to move 6" or less and be really close the the enemy. This means that you will always be in the enemy's double tap/assault range before you get to use both the flamers. One HF is good enough, since you can only use a single weapon anyway, when you swoop in from 12"away.
