Ok so I have been working on my IG for a couple of months now, painting endless cadian shock troops and am a little worried to new recut cadians arent going to look the same as my current cadians, which will annoy me to the fullest. I tried pulling up the pics of the new cadians on some of the other threads but cant seem to pull pictures for the life of me...

I think that the new cadians will look the same but come in different boxes that contain 7 men, a sergeant and a HW team.

Think about this. The recut Marine sprue had the same basic look, as did the Ork one. The Cadians are waaaay too new of a sculpt to get redone completely. You'll just be getting re-jiggered options, not a new look. I'd bet the farm on it.

Same paint scheme will do wonders. Typically recut minis (Marines, Dark Elves) are similar with the newer entries being more detailed.

whew...well thats def reasuring, I was starting to panic a little there. One thing is for sure, I will be replacing my spykers with the new ones bc it is simplty bad ass

You can expect the current Cadian design to stick around for 5 more years im sure!

From what I hear, there will be no "recut" Cadians. They'll simply come in a 10-man boxed set with no new parts.

The Cadian Command Spue looks just like the cadian shock troops (albeit with more flashy bitz).

So no worries, everything will look nice

If anything, from the rumor mill, all you will be doing is adding a few here and there, Not the regular troopers- Command squads, commisars, ogryns, etc.
The other stuff.

Heavy weapons will be the same, regular troops - same.

New stuff is things like the flyers and vehicles. You may have a new regiment or two, as the saying goes, but if you want to stick to the Cadians, you shouldn't be to shocked.

If you need proof look at the new WD, It has a picture of the new plastic Valkyre with current cadians coming out of it.
