After a good two months of work my ork army if finally almost done. I still have to flock the bases but for the most part it's done. I'm still debating adding a stompa or some other super heavy to the mix. Anyway, lotsa work here, I went for a simple goff-ish look.

What are each of those custom vehicles supposed to be? And the Ork with the tank tracks body?

The two largest vehicles are battlewagons, the smaller one is a looted wagon. The ork/wartrakk is basically a buggy with twin linked big shoota, I've also toyed with the idea of using it as a big mek on bike.

Pretty much gonna use standard flock. I think I may go urban or desert for my next army but for the most part local tables are grassy.

Nice. I really like it. The Warboss/biker guy is really well converted.

"I.. I know my time has come" Tethesis said with a gasp, a torrent of blood flowing from his lips.
"No! Hang on brother!!" Altharius could feel the warmth slip away from his dear sibling's hands

Tethesis's reached out his bloodied arm to Altharius's face.
"I..I have one final request"
Altharius leaned close to listen, tears welling in his once bright eyes.
"make sure th..they put my soulstone in a tank... it'll be... real fethin' cool"
"Yes, you're gonna be the most fethin' cool tank!!" burning hot tears streaked down Altharius's face, as he held his brother's soul in his grasp.

They need to be based badly.... nothing ruins a wonderful paint job more than a flat green base.

The ones on the aobr nobs are from the warhammer ogre bulls box set. I think they were like wrist guards before I choped the hand section off.

agreed!

Your models look great but the bright green on the bases burn my eyes!

Even if you just painted them brown it would help allot.

Just remember that your models aren't fighting on a football field.

My two cents.

Is what your living for worth dying for?

I'm kinda disappointed after seeing all these pics. Awesome paintjobs, awesome conversions, awesome to see a COMPLETELY painted force, let alone this large...

But nothing based...

Well he did state in the first post that he was going to base them...

For some constructive criticism, i got stuck on the guy with the burst cannon, his pose doesn't really suggest that he is shooting his gun, but it is ejecting shells...
There are some minis with visible Mold-lines and gaps between the plastic parts.

All in all nothing major and i do Love the feel of the whole army, great work!

Looks nice. Looked at the first couple of pictures, but got tired of squinting.

I must admit I cant be bothered to look at pictures where the photographer couldn't even bother to take the pictures in daylight instead of under a standard lightbulp. Even worse, leaving other models in the background. How hard is it to put a piece of blank paper behind the unit?

At least you didn't fall for the classics. Photographers that are stupid enough to believe we will appreciate looking at his scarred dirty paintingmat, half-finished models in the background and a dusty corner of a keyboard. Preferably taken with a camera-phone in the middle of the night. Sigh.

I kinda wish his head was bigger and looking in the direction he's firing. When I made him I had very few ork bitz, I wish I had waited till after I got the nob box. As for the bould lines and gaps, the last frontier for me is getting a proper file and some green stuff.

These pictures were shot by balancing ambient light and a wireless flash. I spent well over an hour shooting these pix. I had to keep consistent light while changing the aperture to accommodate larger models like the vehicles meaning I had to constantly change the duration of the exposure to keep ambient consistent and alter the output on the flash to make up for the change in aperture. You can see the difference in the later shots in which I only used the flash bounced off the ceiling, there’s less of a red cast bouncing up from the table. In any case, I feel a lot more effort was put into these pictures than 90% of the pix I see on dakka. This wasn't shot with a point and shoot, this was shot with about 4500$ worth of camera gear.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.
