Just found this... MERCS minis update! yay.

From Tom Mason(sculptor) himself at MERCS forums.

It has been such a long time coming that I thought I'd give the final pics of the Yellow Jackets Assault Trooper green a new thread. The green has already been shipped to the mold maker and I will put it up in the store for pre-order as soon as I get confirmation on a ship date.

Some of you will be happy to see that there are 2 head choice (helmeted and bare).

- Enjoy -

And in case anyone is wondering the brass rod coming out of his backpack is what I used to hold the piece and will be used to sprue the pack

One more purchase for my little diorama! With helmet on!

Damn, I've gotten so used to GW heroic scale that this guy looks misproportioned to me...

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

Oh I'm loving this....this is a perfect addition to my Infinity Mercs "army".....I wish there were more of these coming out soon as they'd be great as Inquisitorial Stormtroopers or Military specialist.

I think the pose and scale look perfect and wipe the pad with GW minis (IMHO).

Man down, Man down....

They face looks strange. Like he's badly circumcised, but that's what helmets are there for!

Cool model.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Helmet version is much much better... the upper legs look a bit to fat, but heck its minor detail... overall a very nice miniature... A must have for me.

Or it does, which also makes sense in a way....

Yeah I think the legs are a tad big for the rest of the body, I can over look that as the clothing. Its the length of the leg that gets me, the upper thigh seems overly long while the leg below the kneel way too short and still bulk, hes kinda thin in the waist to have legs that big.

That being said Id still pick up the fig, its good work to be sure and a nice addition to any collection.

Cry Havoc and let slip the dogs of war!

Grogeous - the bare head isn't their best - but still, sweet ass model, I so wish GW would slowely work towards better proportioned models. FW is kinda trying

If I was playing a futuristic RPG, I would already be ordering all these figs.

They might be a bit too hi-tech for Dark Heresy, though...

These come at just about the right time for AE-Bounty. It's a more open, space scifi, version of AE-WW2.
