Hello was working on a list for a local league/tourney and came up with the following. basic plan was to use the sorcerers to move opposition into favorable firings positions, for me at least, and clumpp them up for blast or template weapons.

HQ
Sorcerer--mark of slaanesh, Lash of submission
Sorcerer--mark of slaanesh, Lash of submission

Elites
5 Chosen CSM--2 meltaguns, rhino with havoc launcher

Troops
6 Noise marines--Champion with doom siren, blastmaster, 2 sonic blasters, rhino with havoc launcher
6 Noise marines--Champion with doom siren, blastmaster, 2 sonic blasters, rhino with havoc launcher
7 plague marines--2 plasma guns, rhino with havoc launcher

Heavy Support
2 obliterators
2 obliterators
Vinidicator with daemonic possession

Let me know what you think.

Thats an extremely low model count.

Why sorcerers instead of demon princes. If theyre hiding with the NM sqauds in the rhinos they wont be able to cast lash if you move over 6". If you leave them out in the open they will get shot. Demon princes survive for longer.

Your NM squads are equipped badly. You should not have a blastmaster and a champion with a doomsiren in the same unit because they want to do different things. Blastmasters want to sit back and hit stuff with a S8 blast while doomsirens want to be driving straight up to the enemy. Pick whether you want the squads to be static fire support or mobile offense. Dont try and do both.

Ive never been a big fan of chosen in this codex. They always seem so lack-luster for their points. I'd get more noise marines instead.

The vindicator would be better as another 2 oblits.

Is the reason for all the havoc launchers to take advantage of lash? I was thinking about something similar the other day but havent been able to test it.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

I agree heavily with Regwon, except for the Vindi. I like the Vindi in these lists, I've never had a chance to try one but I think they will perform very well if your area is heavily influenced by power armored armies. I'd say having lots squads of Noise Marines would be better, probably a layout like this.
(x2) DP, MoS, LoS, Wings 155
(x2) 5x Noise Marines, Blast Master 140
(x2) 6x Noise Marines, 5x Sonic weapons, Champ w/ Siren in Rhino 210
(x1) 9x Noise Marines, 9x Sonic Weapons in Rhino 260
(1x) 10x Noise Marines, 10x Sonic Weapons IN Rhino 285
(x2) 2x Oblits 150
(1x) Vindi, Possession 145

This list eliminates the other mark units. You have great assault units in your Large Noise Marine units, they jump out of a rhino shoot all kinds of shots and run in at I5, the Champ squads do the same but probably only hop out and shoot a lot with the doomsiren after a lash to utterly devastate things. The Vindi will take things out pretty handily as well, while the oblits will take care of most of your tank woes that the DPs can't handle.

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.
