So, was thinking of liek a mechanized orky army, lotsa kanz, few dreds maybe and lotsa cyborks...any ideas on playability, possible lists, how to incorporate conversions to make all of them a sorta 50s style robot and or deeep sea diver type guys???

For deep sea divers, just get a ball and stick it on where their head should be. Make all the boyz like this, and nobz all cyborks.

Perhaps the inclusion of mad doc Grotsnik because then they all can be cyborks. a Mek to maintain and upgrade the cybork parts. Lots of Kans and Dreads. Try cutting off the shoota boyz arms off below the elbow making the shoota the forearm of the arm, a gun arm. Same theory for other weapons just like they used to be in 1st edition. They have some good drawings of these sort of things in a 1st edition book called 'Ere we go'.

If you're going with "lotsa" Cyborks you might wanna consider using Grotsnik. Maybo not as Grotsnik himself, but as a character who could bring the same options into your army. Maybe some total spaced out Mek who's just a brain in a robot body or something like that.

For 50s stye robots you should use metal tentales with claws at the end for your dreadnoughts to give them a forbidden planet feeling.

HEHE thanks for the inquiries guys, Im thinking instead for the dreads and kans I might go with a bioshock styled theme, mad dok being something like dr killjoy from the suffering and nobz in general more like automatons...

Yes, they are. He's one of my Kommandos, they're all equiped differently though.
