Can demons run without grinders?

What will you do against LR's if your 'Thirster gets waxed early?

I want to try and get away with not using grinders.

EDIT: I can drop two crushers or five 'letters to do that.

I'd personally see the letters off... crushers are far better. then again... you are lacking a little in troops... ehh... you could probably spare two crushers.

Skulltaker is good, but double BT is a deadly combo and will help you out on Anti-tank and basically anti everything.

Problem is figuring out another BT model. I bought Belakor, dislike the traditional one personally. Forgeworld one is just too damn big to lug around.....and would be in LOS across the room....

The Forgeworld one is HUGE! DO NOT use it as a regular BT. TOO expensive and the size demands better stats than only 4 tough 6 wounds. If you want some good alternative models check out Ultraforge. Its not too bad on price and could be a good alternative bloodthister.

I actually want to use you soon for a Khorne Daemon Prince conversion, so let's brainstorm what you could use for a second Bloodthirster.

That last Nurgle Daemon Prince conversion you did was great. Maybe a Shaggoth conversion? WHFB Giant with wings? It IS difficult to come up with other options.

Khorne Heralds on Chariots seem to be popular and have some good, simple conversion possibilities.
Flesh Hounds with Karnak?
Flamers painted as Khorne shooting molten brass?

Skimmer Mech lists (tau, eldar, dark eldar) are liable to give you fits. Especially since they have the firepower to take down the thirster quickly.

Oh snap, Shaggoth with wings, that is a good idea. I have some of the high elf dragon wings......
