So are Squig Hoppers affected by animosity? I would just think it would be hard to make a squig sit in place with a goblin strapped to its back.

It's not the whole army, but yes squig hoppers are affected.

Read page 16 it tells you who isn't affected (giants, trolls, black orcs etc)

Envision it as the goblins getting uppity and pointing their squigs at eachother, or something odd like the squigs going out of control for a turn and chasing butterflies, etc.
