is it good on a khorne exalted hero build? i want to know before i start painting my exalted.

Depends on what the rest of your kit out (especially mount) will be. It will only leave you with 15 points for magic weapons...

Hero on jugger (comes with chaos armour) and an enchanted shield starts at -1 armour save (my kit out for a khorne lord, armour and mount wise)

I have used it on my juggy hero. It works pretty well. I would prefer regeneration but its too expensive for him. It makes him very hard to kill in most circumstances. Toss a flail on him and he is a force to be reckoned with. However if you dice are bad you will regret taking the armor. I have many times. With average dice it is pretty sick.

i meant on foot, as i have the new khorne champ primed and ready, and this great idea for warpstone.

If on foot and not running around by himself, I would say the points can be better spent on offense. On a juggy he needs the extra protection as he is a unit by himself. Just my 2 cents anyway.

Don't see why you can't paint him the way you want. Armor is a item and specific armor does not have to be represented. If anything paint the helm red and you are set. WYSIWYG is not required for painting. The armor of morrslieb is great for mounted guys, just never hear about it on a foot model, it could be ok on a foot guy. He will be hidden in a unit so it is not as important for him, but who cares it will still be decent.

especially since he has to fight challenges. hmm, lets get some build discussions going.

On foot, I like : Enchanted shield, sword of battle and favor of the dark gods. Or flail, blasphemous amulet, favor of the dark gods, shield and bloodcurdling roar. I like these combos for khorne guys on foot. What were you thinking?

I don't ever recall a flayed haubark being modeled on any vampires I've ever used or faced against when the item has been taken.

WYSIWYG in fantasy doesnt apply to magic items only mundane, so if you gave him an enchanted shield he would have to have a shield but it need not look special in any way.

I like the helm of many eyes, enchanted shield and a flail, throw in favor of the gods for fun and maybe sopophoric musk if you have the points.

hmm. ok. that sounds like it could work.
