Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Considering how Oblits' look in the first place I'd say what you did there is enough.

Is there some fluff to all those Ork parts??

My thought where that my CMS army adds the souls of their slain foes to their own powers. The faces of the kills appears as screaming faces of agony on their bodies. The first oblit just ripped an Ork appart and as the ork is drawing his final breath he sees his own face appear on the oblits back.

Aaahhh, very interesting concept, thanks for enlightening me.
Would that somehow change how the Oblits' weapons would look? Just asking

Some of the gunbarrels on the oblits will be slugga and shoota parts.... Deff guns and burnas will unfortuantly be too big to fit in the arms of the oblits.

No, but I plan to cut them down to the barrel, the front half is just about the same size as the biggest guns on the metal sprue in the oblit blister.

this may sound odd, but can you post some pics that are taken from a bit father away. It is difficult (for me) to get a sense of scale without seeing the whole model.

Excellent beginning to your army.

take care

What you need to do is go to aperture priority (A) and then set the aperture very small. This will up you depth of field tremendously. Beware that it will also cause the shutter to remain open a long time to compensate. You will want a tripod and to take the shot with the timer so you don't shake it.

I look forward to seeing these guys with paint.

Maybe use a screaming face for the ork next time, to reffer to the scream of agony when his souls is being absorbed in the obliterator

if this is your first experions with green stuff, very nice.
Why not try to make the nurgle fly on on of the shoulders or the 3skulls symbol.

Great job, keep up that standard

After some research on different painting schemes I did some painting today on the 2nd Oblit. Some more detailing and touch-ups left to do and ofc make the base better (rim painting and so on.) 19 diffent colors is used and 5 washes.
You do you think?

I would do something to draw a bit more attention to the ork faces on the Obliterator's bums, but other than that very well done!

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
