Here is the list ill be running in an upcoming tourny. This list is fully painted to take advantage of painting scores. The only thing not painted in Salimanders colors are the landspeeders and 2 dreads. they are a variant color scheme however are fully painted. The list consists of a fully drop pod list at 1750 points. however i need to go to 1850 so i made a few changes and was able to get 140 pts for the 2 landspeeders.

I usually put Vulcan with one of the Power Fist squads he will drop in using reserve. MotF will be attacked to the squad that has the power weapon. He is there mostly for the added dread. He can lend a hand in that squad if a PF is needed.
I combat squad in objective based games. KP i dont. I usually deploy the dreads first round and Drop the tac squads. depending on certain situations ill deploy the tac squads and drop the dreads first round and then drop the remaining pods empty.
Suggestions are very appreciated since this is my first tourny. thanks

Well, looks quite good. Three Tacticals should be sufficient. I'd drop them on objectives (or in the backfield) and support them with Ironclads.
Ironclads are very nasty, I'd drop them rather aggressively. These guys are able to disrupt enemy plans, don't care if they are going down.

Nice army. I sure as hell wouldn't wanna face it, more specifically the ironclads .. Wouldn't change anything about it.

18 Killpoints is a lot.
Looks pretty solid aside from that though. Perhaps consider finding the points for some Locator Beacons on your first wave pods? You don't necessarily need them at all because your pods can't die from landing on things, but I personally like to make sure everything lands exactly where I want it to.

the only place i could get the points for beacons would be to drop the combi flamers. I could also drop the combis for a second MM on the speeders insted of the heavy flamers.
