I am returning to the hobby after a few years hiatus, and I was hoping for some tips on painting my Khorne Berzerkers. I was planning on doing a reversal of the old color scheme, using brzen brass as the main color for the armor, with red gauntlets, shoulder pads, calves, and a few other spots. I was then going to put a green ink wash on the brass parts of the armor so it looked old. However, without brazen brass as a color, I am forced to pursue alternatives.

How does dwarven bronze compare to brazen brass?
I never really used ink washes when I played in high school, so can anyone give me tips on washing the metal to make it look aged?
Are there any alternate color schemes I could try out that would look good? I am trying for a look that is unique, but still undeiably Khornate.

Just get Tin bits and Dwarf bronze, mix them about 50/50 and BOOM youve got Brazen brass again. At least close enough anyway.

Goldleaf products come in brass also ACE hardware brand has a brass metalic finish paint they both will need Xylene to clean up though. I'll bring some sprie tomorrow to work with me and double check to make shire it doesn't eat the plastic.
