Hi all

Here are some photos of random models I painted last year for some fellow GW enthusiasts.

The dinosaur-riding eldar are for an Eldar Exodite army.

Thanks!

No, all the models are fully sealed at this point.

Awesome! Highly evocative without being too detailed or overdoing the highlighting. Are you inspired by graphic novels or computer animation, because that's the impression I'm getting. I'd very much like to see an entire army painted in that style.

Most of the models seem to lack "pop", probably due to your choice of colors. Not a huge deal though, it's just a different look. I totally love that exodite dinosaur conversion, the armor looks great.

Yeah, I agree, as far as those particular models lacking high-contrast features. That was a deliberate choice, as I like models to be done in a more restrained color palette if they're "organic", and only like the higher contrast on armored or mechanical stuff, like the chaplain's helmet, or the bright red on the dreadnought.

I love the Exodites on the Carnosaur! Where's your IG, though?

Holy crap, a GW avatar that DOESN'T look like crap. That's incredible. I thought the model was so horrible that no one could salvage it.

Also... DINORIDERS! HELL YEAH!

@Court--- I use good old Krylon Crystal Clear Spray Sealer, in the Flat finish. Nothing fancy. It's super clear, and it dulls down metallic finishes a lot less than most other clearcoats.

@Fafnir---- Oh, you wound us Eldar players! The Avatar's a good model, if it gets a little TLC. Sure, it's an older sculpt now, but he's got heart, that guy.
