i hav been playing 40k for a year or 2 but i hav always found myself druling over other peoples conversions i hav tryed a few but it was an uter disaster so i throw it away.
i am buying aload of tau ready built and was wondering if anyone could help me on the easyist thing to convert(in list below) and the best way to convert. anyones pics are more than welcome if it helps me in some way.

Could you be just a little teeny tiny bit more specific?

Seriously though, it totally depends on what your trying to accomplish. What's your theme? What type of conversion? Are you talking converting to make more dynamic or something like making Nurgletau marines?

I am fortunate enough to live near a model train store, but I picked up a jewlers saw for about $2.

You'd be amazed. It cuts through plastic like butter.

My advice would be to start out small. Hack off a few at the wrist. Turn the hand about 45 degrees inward, and reglue it. Do you like it? Why or why not?

Go from there.

And post pics! Let us know what you were trying to accomplish, and how you feel it came out, and we'll be able to give you better advice.
