So yeah, sue me I'm making these gits.

:p

Only problem is, I dunno the best way to go about them. Would i be able to get away with just hacking an arm of a normal Warbiker and sticking on a Claw?

Or would replacing the torso also be more effective?

probably 2x biker boxes and a nob box will be more than enough to make 6 bikers and 6 boyz on foot if you need them.

Well..... yes you could just hack off and arm and put a PK on it. A normal Ork biker WILL look much too small to be a Nob. But that way will get the job done. Or you could try and stick a nobs upper half on a normal bike. Again the legs will look a bit small but the rest will be nob. Thats about the cheapest way of doing it if your looking at cost.
If not yea get a biker set and a nob set and make the magic happen. Good luck on what ever you decide on. Orks are the gak basically

Yea but do you want to pay that for those? Or have the satisfaction of knowing "yea... I made those...... and they dont look like playdough"

Sides you cant get good at conversions if you never do them

You don't want normal bikers to be 'counts as'?

BTW, do you have any spare PK's from your boyz sprues? The arms are smaller, so they will fit with non-nob torsos right?

You better have some sprues left over, or else how can you call yourself an ork player?

This is what I am doing:

3x warbike packs... and then buying the rest of the nob bits from battlewagon bits (.com). There will be 3 nob torsoes and 3 powerklaws/big choppas right there.

Heh my lazy way was just to use the current ones as the Nobz bikes and my old 2nd ed bikes as the regular ladz.

It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. Thanks for all the advice guys

Im gonna see if a Torsoswap looks alright. Im worried mostly that the legs will look far too small. If thats the case I'll just stick claws on them and say they are nobs whos home planet didnt have veggies or something :p

I am making mine from the AoBR Deffkoptas. By the time I give them a chopper front end and weapons on the riders, the models are going to be much larger and more inpressive than normal bikers...plus AoBR deffkoptas are soooo stinking cheap on ebay right now

I think the bikes, plus the Nobs box, is the way to go.

Well as far as the normal boyz idea goes, you do know that Orks only get bigger from combat. If Orks dont get a steady stream of fightin then they start to shrink a bit. That could be part of your fluff. They had been cruising around awhile looking for a brawl and just shrunk.

It really depends on how much work you want to do for them. I plan on making mine using the extra Nobz I got with AOBR.

The plan is to cut the Nob at the waist, then cut the legs in half if I need clearance in the bike and using GS for the Gap, then modding the arms to fit etc...

If you look at the nob that comes with the Boyz he's not that much bigger than the boys, the AOBR Nobz look bigger.

I just ordered a Ork battleforce and 3 more boxes of Warbikers. My plan is to use the 2 sets of the AOBR Warboss, and Nobs to make a to total of 2 Warboss on Bikes and 10 Nobz on bikes. I'm gonna P&M Blog it when I start.
