Ok so during my game today I was facing my friend with a weird boy in a mob of 30 boys. Turn 1 the Ork boy 'Ere we go'ed and deepstrike right on my thunderfire cannon and rules on the mishap chart and rolls for a delay. We all know delay states that they are put back into reserve. So in the following turn we rolled for reserve. Here is where the problem came up. He stated that the boyz still get to deep strike. He reasons were because they didn't get to finish their deep strike in the previous turn. I was under the impression that since they were placed back into reserve that they would lose the deep strike ability and would have to come in from their deployment zone. So we rolled off and they deep striked.

Yes, you can't deep strike since the unit doesn't have the deep strike special rule (anymore). So I would go with deployment zone as well...

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough...

Deployment zone. If your friend needs to visualize it, think of it as the Orks being teleported out into the middle of nowhere because the Weirdboy cocked up his psychicness and now they all have to run back to the fight on foot.

Deployment zone. Same as if an SM Librarian gets a mishap on Gate of Infinity.

This issue has been discussed already, only with Librarians and Gate of Infinity.

Do a search.

!!!IM IN THE ORK WAAAAGH LEAGUE!!!

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.

Well, that is cerainly a novel take on it.
Not really substanciated by the rules, but certainly a novel idea.

Yet another case of "never refer to your local redshirt".

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
