I´ve just started my CSM army and will now order the rest of he stuff I need, such as the rest of the models and a carrying case.
I would like to buy the Sabol platoon case since it snaps under my Army transport.
But I need to check the all my modells fit fit in this new case.

My hopes are to fit in the following figures in the case:

3 Rhinos in a 2.5"
6 Oblits and 2 Princes in a 2.5"
21 Plague marines in 2x1.5"

Total 8" of foam.

Any toughts?

I don't think we can really help you on this one without giving us the models to measure ourselves.
What models are you using for the princes, with/without wings etc. Are there any large banners/icons, running/arms in the air poses etc.
2.5 might be tight for the rhinos if covered in spikes etc.

The depths of the trays that Sabol give are completely accurate. There is a little give in the bags too.
Best thing to do is build all of your models then work it out using your existing case and a ruler as a guide.

Most 'troops' models should fit in 1" of foam, as long as they are in fairly standard poses. 2.5 could work for rhinos, as above though if they are spikey or have gear that can't be removed (glued on storm bolter) it might be close.

My plague marines will be out of the box death guards with some conversions but not on hight. So maybe they will fit on a 1" instead of a 1.5". That will save me 1" for the thicker foams for Rhinos and princes. I plan to have wings on princes (but removeable). Since I dont have the dimensions for neither princes or the rhinos, I was hoping for some help.
