Just like stocks when a new edition of a game comes out some models improve and some don't.

Make your 'Top 5' Predictions here along with a reason or two.

Note: We shall assume that the 'stock' of Warjacks go up across the board

Stock goes up:

1. Reinholt (becomes a warcaster attachment)
2. Slayer (Access to all the power attacks and cheap)
3. Devil Dogs (Anti Jack unit in a target rich environment)
4. Rhulic Heavies (More focus efficient)
5. Necro Surgeon (Cheaper and has more synergy with its own unit)

Stock goes down:

1. Iron Fang Pikemen (cost goes up to be directly comparable with other units of the same type)
2. Centurion (cost comparable to its abilities)
3. Alexia (more VPs, control undead an action, zombies turn up at the beginning of her turn)
4. Lady Aiyana & Master Holt (no invisible + shoot combo)
5. Bane knights (on the receiving end of the Bane Thralls points swing)

Anyone got a top 5 to add?

I'll take a shot at this.

Stock goes up:

1) Lord Rockbottom. I think they'll make his coins affect Rhulic units as well.
2) Necrosurgeon. Points drop and making it easier for her abilities to work.
3) MoW Kovnik. Better jacks make his jackmarshalling more useful. Plus, he might pick up a Shocktrooper Cohort.
4) Devil Dogs. Not only will there be more jacks to kill, but Sam has a decent chance of getting a Drive.
5) Boomhowler and Co. A points drop would be a good start. They have nowhere to go but up.

I kept jacks out of the above list because that would be too easy.

Stock goes down:

1) Reinholdt. Making him a warcaster attachment means Cygnar never takes him again. Ever.
2) Epic Vlad. His feat is likely getting nerfed.
3) Monolith Bearer. MB, this is Nerf Bat. Nerf Bat, this is MB.
4) Bane Knights. Nerf and/or a points increase.
5) What else gets complained about that PP can cave in on? Hmm. feth it. For a record third time under the nerf bat, Sorscha.

Stock up:

1) Reinholt- his abilities currently don't make a lot of sense (you can pre-measure what now?). So I think he'll be altered.
2) Boomhowler + Co. Yeah, they'll get a new point value or altered abilities to be on level with all the other trollkin units that have come out.
3) Devil Dogs- they've gotten pretty worthless, but they could be revamped to be useful.
4) Nemo- anti-jack 'caster hasn't been all that great in the past, but I bet they do something about that. Plus, there will be alot of 'jacks on the table, right?
5) Morvana- I can't believe her feat is so useless. That's got to be on the fix this list.

Down
1) Vilmon- Honestly, run and become immune to most attacks?
2) the Black 13- We still don't know what happens if they shoot each other or Master Holt. Some part of that rule is going to leave. But there are other abilities that you can't quite figure out on the card too, so "simplify."
3) Master Holt- Same reason as above.
4) Bane Knights - Because they're movement causes so many timing issues, it would be too easy to change it to something completely different.
5) Scar- the pirate queen who does not need Line of Sight, doesn't need to roll to hit, and can kill a man from 18" away (with her move). Yeah, I don't know that that one is staying.

1) Rockbottom is largely (heh) the same as before. He made a lateral move.
2) Right on the nose. The Necrosurgeon is one of the brokenest models in the game right now.
3) Jackmarshalling got buffed, jacks got buffed, and he picked up a Drive. Cohorts are gone, but now he lets you field extra Shocktroopers or extra Demo Corps.
4) Jackmarshalling got buffed, jacks got buffed, and she picked up a Drive and Iron Wall. The unit is cheaper, but pretty much the same.
5) Big points drop and he gained multiple Fell Calls. They are now a decent tarpit unit despite losing the Stink Bombs.

4/5. Not bad.

1) Reinholdt is not a warcaster attachment which means he can switch it up in multi-caster games. Also, he no longer gets scared when his warcaster is too far from him. He got slightly better.
2) His feat got nerfed and lost a spell.
3) The Monolith Bearer's mini-feat now does not protect against magic, when Zealots die they no longer get the +4 DEF, and when the MB dies they lose Fearless and the ability to run and chuck bombs.
4) Vengeance is arguably a better ability than Shadowshift since it allows the whole unit to move and attack when just one of them dies. Then again, half of what made Shadowshift so nasty was messing with their opponent's turn. Let's call it a wash. They did seem to get a hefty points increase.
5) Wind Rush is only +2 DEF and Shake reduces the effectiveness of her various stationary causing abilities. Sorscha is officially "The Thrice Nerfed".

3/5, maybe 4/5 depending on Cryx players find Vengeance.

Good guesswork there Oomie.

1. Not an attachment, but all the bad rules that made me want him to be an attachment are gone.
2. 6 points is cheap, on the money.
3. Improved? maybe. Cheaper yes.
4. Nope, just the same, cheap though.
5. Yep, such an improvement for the Necro surgeon.

1. Hard to say with the new points, I'll give myself this one.
2. Yep, and its ability is (slightly) weaker.
3. VP's gone, Control undead gone. Zombies arrive at the beginning of the turn.
4. Invisibility has gone from the game.
5. Yep, I may even field Bane Thralls without Goreshade now.

Overall improvement in all areas. Good job I didn't predict anything for Soul hunters, Cephalyx, Withershadow Combine or Blighted Trollkin.
