Emperors Champion with Accept The Challange No Matter The Odds (re-roll missed hits in CC)

6 Crusader squads-10 initiates 9 CCW & BP 1 Melta gun and 10 neophytes CCW & BP

120 marines who have with 59 attacks (per squad) when charging and re-roll all missed hits.....wowzers.

1760 points so 90 to spare!! (if my quick math is correct ;])

i know its not very practical (no range and such) but this would be such a fun army to play and this vs a green tide army would be such a crazy game.

I think it'd get shot to smithereens as it slowly foot-slogged across the table. It might be fun for a one off scenario type game, though.

It's not that slow. It gets to run like anybody else, and if the squad passes a morale check from shooting it gets an extra d6" towards the closest enemy unit. I'd throw in a Marshal for the LD10 though.

true, a marshall is 86 points with a storm bolter and a CCW so that would finish out the army.

I think it is a viable build. Just make sure there are PF in those squads.

Its not slow at all, they can run and every time a squad takes a casualty they break forward, that army is charging you turn two.
