Certain units of undead have to be close to a vamp to march isnot that correct.
The other tactic of the undead is to raise figures that have been killed.
Yes you have some very good offensive spells.
Keep us informed about how your tactics did.

If I have read this right you have 1 VLord + 3Vampires
2 units of ghouls
2 units of fell bats
2 Varghulfs
And your leathskin squad only adds up to 368 not the 532 you indicated.
So you are missing a core unit (require 3) which may be because you did not list it.
Or my eyes are funky because of how you presented the army.

Sorry about that. Wrote this up while on cough medicine. Stuff messes with ya!
Anyway, tacked on a unit of 16 zombies I could throw in the way of scout or something else that pops up. That alright?

Another silly mistake on my part. There, minused a fell bat to make it a squad of 21 zombies.

It seems decent but does not have much of a hitting force to it.
The Varghulfs are only US4 so will not break ranks in a flank and with so much flaming for anti regeneration out there they may not last as long as you want.
Having the ghouls and supporting Vampires move up early will defintely help. If you hide your flyer in a ghould unit at the start of the game then move up before the game begins and then fly them out to behind the opponent then you can get your anti marching and your zombie raising going turn 1
9PD and 7DD is average.
Make sure you keep your ghasts accepting challenges so your vampires dont have too. And then raise them back so you can keep you ghasts for the next round.
Good luck.

Yeah, that's something I was worried about. I'm likely to go up against Dwarves, HE, or Skaven. The first and last I'm okay with, but if the HE brings a dragon, I'm not sure my puny Vampire magicks are gonna be enough.

Awesome tactic man, thanks! I gotta remember that...
9PD and 7DD is average.
I'm... assuming that has something to do with the number of zombies I raise? Also, do the zombies count for victory points?

If you raise a new unit of zombies (any size) they are worth 50vp at the end of the game if they are destroyed.
9 Power dice and 7 Dispell dice is average for any army.
I have run a Tzeentch Daemon list with 15 Power Dice and 10 Dispell Dice.
The less dice you have the less opportunity you have to raise more zombies and or use invocation to increase the size of your zombie units or to bring back Ghouls.
If your magic gets shut down or you lose Vampires you are going to have more difficulty maintaining units.

Yeah you have very little punch with this list, granted you have 4 vampires but they can be rendered combat ineffective or flat out killed if needed. Varghulfs are great and hard hitting but maybe not worth taking two. You could try sacking one and scimming the ghouls down to units of 14 then using the extra points for Blood Knights or Black Knights. They are fast enough to keep up, have larger unit strength for flanking manuevers, and have either Killing Blow (BKs) or allot more attacks (blood knights).
