Hello all,
I know this has been answered before, but I cannot remember if there was a resolution and Search came up with nothing.
Say I already had a squad of guardsmen in combat with some boyz and then I charge in my HQ unit with a couple of power fists/weapons in there. Can my opponent remove models in a way so that the Power weapon models arent in BtB/2" from a model in BtB to avoid their attacks?

In 5th edition your attacks are allocated at the beginning on combat, so other than not having your Independant Characters in base contact with the enemy at the beginning of the combat there is no other way to avoid their attacks.

so all wounds are resolved at the same time.
So say i attack with my guardsmen first, I put those wounds aside until i'm done with all my attacks, and then he removes models, correct?

Wounds are resolved in initiative order, but remaining models may fight at their initiative according to the models they were engaged with at the beginning of the close combat phase.

So basically, yes, he can remove models to avoid being hit by my power fists.

Negative. As long as your power fist could attack a unit at the beginning of the assault phase (once models are finished moving) it can attack when it's initiative step comes around. So unless the unit that your power fist could attack is wiped out, your power fist gets to attack.

Ok cool. Do you guys have a page number I can cite? I've read through the Assault phase section and can't seem to find it, as well as the wounding in shooting phase as well.
EDIT: nevermind, I found it on page 35. Read over it 4 times thinking it was meant for something else O.o. Thanks.
