So this is a conversion me and my Father have been working on for his Death Korps of Krieg army. This is much like the Forgeworld Griffen mobile artillery, but instead we've decided to take a Death Korps of Krieg heavy mortar, cut it down to size, cut up a 21st century toys WWII Marder MK III, and fit it inside. We're sure that it's gonna have the same rules as a Griffen. Hope you all like it.

Nifty!

All I can suggest is perhaps either a Devlan Mud or Badab Black wash over the painted metal & you're set.

If it's stupid & it works, it's not stupid.

Seriously wicked tank. The rust on the treads looks fantastic! I would also agree you might want to wash the armor a bit it looks a bit flat IMO.

Well it was funny how this all came together. My mother and myself had decided to surprise my Father with a V-day gift. Forgeworld had screwed up the order somehow and sent us two mortars instead of a Grenadier squad. He still loved them but didn't think he needed two based on the ground.

I grew up with WWII tanks around me and all of that, so i thought of taking a German Marder III and strapping a mortar to it instead of an anti-tank gun. So with a little bit of my Dad's craft skills and my painting we through this together in a night.

Very nice... very nice indeed.

Orks are like those neighbor children who aren't invited to your parties and they come right in anyway.
