kinda baisic really, are jump infantry affected by the terrain effects of a thhunderfire cannon? I.E. do thry count as landingg in it or are they unaffected and just jump over?

Regardless of whether or not they would count as landing in it I definitely think they would count as beginning thier move in difficult terrain and so would take a dangerous terrain test for that reason.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Jump infantry ignore terrain while they are moving. However, if they begin or end their movement in difficult terrain then they must make a dangerous terrain test. So they can ignore it so long as they don't begin or end their turn in it. In addition, they can always just walk 6 like everyone else, which would also keep them from taking dangerous terrain tests.

But they will still of course take difficult terrain checks if they walk.

but do they suffer dangerous terrain if they move as jump infantry? Because technically they still start in difficult terrain.

P.S. Oooh yeah Phoenix
