I'm looking to finalize a list for the 40k championship for Adepticon. I've narrowed it down to 2 lists. Let e know what you think. Thanks in advance.

the first list seems a little better. seems like it could do pretty good if played right and atleast its not too cheesy either(i dont know if they do comp)

The DPs should be winged.
I'd prefer the list with 2 LRs.

List 1. Switch WoC for Warptime.

First list. You should find somewhere else for that 5 points your throwing away on that melta-bomb for the PF champ. Twin-link a rhino bolter or something.

Edited list, gave a LR the tl bolter.

I would go with the first list...

...have tried the 10 man CSM w/LC & PG a couple of times and on papper it looks like a good unit to sit on a 'take & hold' point but I've never been able to do enough with the ranged fire to make me think the points cost was worth it.

Your vehicles with be cannon-magnets but with 2 LR's you'd expect at least one to get through if not really both. Can you get daemonic possesion into the points, might help you move forwards even if they get a few shaken type hits?

First list but switch Wind for Warptime on the Nurgle Prince.


I like the 2 LRs a lot.

The first list. Just one lone landraider will attract too much fire, but two will cause your opponent to split their fire. I would drop the combi bolter from the landraider for a plasma gun in one of the plague marine squads.

If you went with the second list, I would drop the lascannon from the CSM squad and replace with a meltagun. Between the oblits and LR you already have 8 lascannons. Aso, move the special weapons around in the PM squads so that it's 2 plasmas, and 2 meltas, and take the rhino from the PM squad with 2 plasmas and give it to the CSM. That gives you the option to deepstrike your oblits closer (off the chaso glory icon)if needed.

I'm going agree with everyone else here and say the first list is better. That CSM squad cant hold an objective as well as plague marines, nor can it take one as well as berzerkers.

The oblits have flamers/plasma cannons, the Nurgle prince has the wind of chaos & Slaanesh prince has the lash. After shooting, mop up what's left with the 'zerkers. Should be enough to handle hordes.

It seems the concensus is the first list. Thanks for the responses!
