Megalith’s eyes glow with something greater than the will of its master, something akin to self-awareness. This stone goliath sometimes wanders where it believes itself most needed, extending its immense restorative power to nearby woldwardens, allowing them to advance together as a crushing wall while shrugging off enemy attacks.
I think any Eldar Exodite players out there just found a ready-made Exodite Wraithlord.

The arms on this guy are a bit unfortunately posed, but I guess you could do something about that.

I think the pose is a bit off. I was expecting something a bit better to be honest- so far trolls have the best unique beast!

Argh, my browser's not viewing the pic here or at the PP website! Can someone please load it from the dakka gallery?

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Arms look like they'll be posable, which makes me curious why they picked the 'Hulk Smash!' pose for the studio model.
Good sculpt though. It does look like what it's supposed to: an old beefed up woldwarden.

Yeah, this is going to be another one of those models I get just because it is covered in awesome-sauce.
I'll do whatever I need to to NOT put the arms up like that, though...

Probably because that's what the artist drew fo the entry. PP has the sad misfortune to have awesome comic-book style artists that can draw amazing stuff that looks liek crap when you see a physical model posed the same way. It's totally true. They have these WICKED pieces of art. And then they make a model that is exactly like the art and it looks God-awful.
Not everyone can be Helldorado I guess.

The eThagrosh lurk works.

Yes, but he has a point that there are a lot of poses that don't work. The one posted above does not. It suffers from the "2nd Edition" pose with his arms raised skyward, though he it doesn't have a mouth so it's not yelling.

I sort of agree about eThagrosh. He's not gorgeous, but he is pretty.
However, I would argue that non-epic Thagrosh is a PRIME example of what mean. I assume you saw the sketch of him in No Quarter. I did. Then, after I tidied up and changed my boxers, I sat in eager anticipation of the tfigure itself.
Total disappointment. He completely fails to live up to the amazing artwork in his entry.
Skorne are another example, particularly the infantry.
But the harshest slap in the face was the dire Troll Blitzer. Totally cool art. The figure is horrendous. Like claw-my-eyes -out ugly. Ouch.

The art in Metamorphosis does not have the Megalith in that position. It is in a very generic (but intimidating) walking pose, arms at the sides swinging normally.

I think that would look better. I have real trouble imagining a walking boulder being angry.

I see how it is, it's cool when walking trees get angry and wreck some wizard's place up but replace them with walking boulders and suddenly something's wrong. It's a double standard.

To be fair, plastic ents are pretty ugly, too.
So it's cool so long as they look cool.

Poor arm pose much like the origional Woldwarden but a little work on the arms and a few stumps on his back will bring this guy to life.

Yeah, as long as the arms are easily re-posable, then I think this model will be pretty sweet. "Treeifying" him, with some branches and stuff would be cool too.
