Is there a small summary sheet somewhere that tells you the differences in between 4th and 5th? I really don't have the time to read a rulebook cover to cover right now so any ideas or links would be much appreciated.

There was an article on the GW site, I think I remember seeing it up about the time that 5th came out.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Then you're not going to know what the rules are, are you?

Besides its not like its actually going to take that long to look though them, you don't need to memorise it or read the fluff section which takes up about half the book. There isn't an easily available summary since listing the changes in a meaningful fashion would break GW's IP by simply copying out all the rules, given that they spent some money making the game its fair enough to ask that you pay for it instead of being a knockoff nigel.

Forget 4th.

Learn 5th.

Trying to build upon 4th with the new rules from 5th leads to sooo many misconceptions and errors. Always check the rulebook if you have even the slightest doubt via either the index or the contents page. Between those two 'referance' sections.. you should be able to zip stright to whatever point thats in question.

If you go to the Bolter and Chainsword they did an article covering a good deal of the changes and how they effect marine armies (as it is a power armor only forum). I think it was called Shall They Know Fear? or something like that.

Always 1 on the crazed roll.

The B&C one was only the changes regarding the transition to 5th edition for the 4th edition Space Marine codex. If anything it'll just create more confusion lol.

To the OP, if you dont have time to read a rulebook, how do you have time to play the game? A game takes far, far longer than it does to read the book.

I second the suggestion by Razerous. Forget everything you know about 4th and relearn 5th from the ground up. I wish I had now (i keep getting bits from 3rd, 4th and even 2nd mixed into my snap judgement, at which point i then go "hold on a sec" check the rules then facepalm like the fist of an angry god!)

The B&C site does give a good over view. You will find it covers most of the rule changes.

Play at least two games where you look up every single thing you do.

Not kidding.....EVERY....SINGLE....THING.

Transition from 4th to 5th, done.
