Besides the fact that it's more boring watching someone build than building yourself, what was wrong with it?

It's not terribly exciting, but hey it's just a guy building something. It does what it aims to do well.

Damn that was boring. I was thinking at first that perhaps watching it would help me fall asleep, but it just made me fidgety. I started wishing he would slice a finger off. Perhaps I should remember once in awhile that not everybody has put together dozens of plastic model kits. Nah...

At this rate he might get that kit done some time before the Emperor's Ascension.

I was watching the videos when I posted and kinda noticed that he had an odd way of going about it...

Same can be said for me though, sometimes I'm too good at removing them and take a chunk of model away with it.

For all the naysayers and 'it was boring' quoters.. let's see you post up your you tube video and see if you are half as intersting or if you too are just a boring slod ..

Hi Folks,

I'm kinda jumping in here but would like to throw in our 2c

Firstly thanks for taking the time to have a look at the stuff we're doing, it is much appreciated and all types of feedback even negative is useful for us going forward.

I completely understand most of the comments above and we do hope the format of our videos will change (and improve) over time.

However the bulk of our emphasis right now is aimed at the more novice wargamer/hobbyist so we try to leave in as much of the process as possible, so there are no confusing cuts or fast forward sequences.

Boring...sure for any subscriber of dakka dakka it will be, but you guys do represent the upper levels of the community, pitching these videos at you guys is like 'trying to teach your granny to suck eggs'

The feedback were getting from novice gamers has been pretty good so far, and we are looking at improvements we can introduce, but even then these kinds of videos are still going to be more suited for novices.

@ BrookM - It takes a surprising amount of time to produce these videos and work has been on going for about 2 weeks (heck even uploading the hi def source files to youtube can take an age) but you can rest easy the rest are coming, and more importantly our processes are being refined so it won't take so long in the future.

Anyway, whether you enjoy them or find them a great natural 'General anaesthetic' we do appreciate you taking a look, and hope that in the future we can do some cool stuff that is a little more targeted at seasoned players like you guys.

If you have any suggestions for content that you would actually like to watch it would be great if you took the time to post in this thread and we'll see what we can do.

Warren
