This is my first post on the Forum, so hello everyone

As sated above, I'm picking up my old Ork army, and I've put together this list for 500 pts:

Da Boss:
Big Mek WizKit
-KFF
-Power Klaw
-(Cybork Body)
-'Eavy Armour
-Grot oiler

Da Boyz:
20 Boyz
-Choppas
-Nob
-Power Klaw
-Boss Pole

20 Boyz
-Shootas
-Nob
-Power Klaw
-Boss Pole
-2x Big Shoota

Da 'Ard Stuff:
Killa Kanz
-Skorcha
Total: 500 pts

I'm going for an all around army (leaning toward horde ) so what do you guys think? There is a lack of anti tank, but for the patrol like games I'll be playing i won't be seeing anything with more than 12 front armour, so the PKs will do, i think...

What do you guys think?

You don't think I'm missing anything? I'm probably facing massed IG troops with some heavy teams, sentinal, and chimera if that makes a differece?

ASfter looking around the forum, i was thinking i would drop the oiler and take a grotzooka on the killa kan, is that a good idea?

hmmm well ur opponent sounds like he's running a ig horde. I think your boyz can easily tak down some conscripts. I don't think you need the oiler but i'v never used a grotzooka

So I was looking throught the codex just now, and i got the idea to convert myself a warboss instead of a Big mek. For the points i gave the big mek, i can give him:

Warboss 'Eadstompa
-Power Klaw
-'Eavy Armour
-Cybork Body
-Boss Pole
-Twin-linked shoota
-Attack Squig

the shoota is up for debate, but that is one killy ork! would that be a better idea for my army? or should i stick with the mek?

I could always field a big mek in larger games with a Kff and put him in the nobs squat with the boss and have them trug the field with kanz and a dread in fornt.

If you want to go for the warboss option i would take a huge coppa over a power klaw save 20 pts and have 6 strength 8 attacks on the charge at a decent intative

KFF with a Killa Kanz screen is really clutch in foot-slogging armies because you give your entire army a 4+ cover save. I can't think of a better way to run the KFF than to combo it with Kanz.

So yeah I don't think the Warboss improves your list at all.
