Here's what I've got:

1 Daemon Prince
10 plague marines, 2 with meltaguns
10 ordinary marines, 2 with meltaguns
2 defilers

and I should have 170 points left over, my question is that I'm wondering which of the following would be better to make up the last of my heavy support/hqs

another daemon prince (both with lash of submission to make best use of the battlecannons)
Another defiler
2 obliterators
or a Chosen squad all equipped with meltaguns and give the daemon prince lash of submission?

Let me know what you think and which of these would be best

well first off those marines need a rhino or they will go

no where. you armed them with meltas but they will never

be in range to shoot them if they walk the whole

way.Your spending too much points on HQs and heavy

support in a 1000 point game. get more troops and lose

the lash spam! its no fun in the end when you win every

game with no contest.

Dual Lash at 1000 is very powergamey so a lot of people will whine when you play them. It's your choice whether you mind putting up with the screams of the pathetic loyalists or not, but I'd have a backup list for people who just play casually so you can always be sure to have a satisfying game. I'd say Rhinoes and maybe a champ with Power Fist and Combi-Melta in each squad (3x Melta shots in one round will likely blow up anything except a few Eldar vehicles or a Monolith). It leaves you really light on troops but I've already gotten the impression you don't really care about that.

Not a bad starting list, but it is pushing it if you want to play friendly games.

Give the DP wings and Warp Time, stops people complaining about the lash and I think is as effective. Prob match the mark to the troop type, so MoN but you could actually not take a mark at all or if it's tourne then maybe MoT.

Troopers defiantely need a rhino, ideally with an additional combi-bolter to stop penetrating rolls of a 3 + 4 from taking it out.

Reduce size of PM squads, add an Aspiring Champion with PF or they will struggle in CC.

2 defilers, one on each flank keeps you reasonably safe from scouts and drops a couple of 72" range shells on the oponent - I would only take a 3rd in a tourne and not in friendly games.

A 5 man Chosen squad with 3 MG's is only 105 points and quite good at hurting armour and distracting oponents. As are 3 man termy suicide deep strikers with combi-meltas at a similar cost.

Might help to take some specific anti-armour though, so maye 2 obtlit's or a LC predator.

Hoep that helps, alot depends on whether the list is for friendlies or tourne. The risk with PM armies is that you don't have too many troop choices, so you may loose the taske + hold games.
