well, i just wanna ask, if a dark eldar raider can move 12" fire its one weapon and THEN all the passengers inside may fire as well? (including blasters/darklances/shredders etc)

And if so or not so, where in the rule book can i find this so that i may inform my friend next time we have a match.

thanks.

Vehicle moves more than 6" = Passangers Cannot Fire.

You can move >6", have the passengers disembark and then fire, but you cant fire out the transport.ref: Page 66, Last paragraph about fire points (open topped transports count as one big happy firepoint ;p)

There's just one more little twist that needs to be put in there. If you move flat out, there is no disembarking and shooting, or normal disembarking.

There is a very flimsy argument you could make that open-topped vehicles don't have fire points, and are therefore not subject to this restriction (which is in the fire points section) but it is unlikely to convince any opponents or organizers. It's really a shame, this change made Tankbustas even more useless than they were before.

There is no argument about it.

Page 66: "Models firing from a vehicle count as moving if the vehicle moves, and may not fire at all if the vehicle moved at Cruising speed that turn."

Page 70: "Open-topped vehicles do not have specific fire points. Instead, all passengers in an open-topped vehicle may fire, measuring range and line of sight from the hull of the vehicle."

And just to nip it in the bud before someone says "It doesnt say they cant fire if it moves Flat out:
Page 70 again: "(Moving Flat out)...is treated in all respects exactly the same as moving at cruising speed for a vehicle that is not fast."

So yes, open topped transports do not have fire points. They instead follow an utterly different set of rules regarding Passengers firing. They are still however subject to the rules for firing from a vehicle.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

They can fire at different targets though I believe. So the transport can shoot at squad A while the passengers can fire at squad B.
