I'm sure there are some of you out there that already know this, but I made the sad discovery just a little bit ago that the top part of a SoB Immolator does not easily fit on top of a Chimera. I've seen some pretty cool Chimera conversions that use this piece, along with a SM Predator turret to make some really distinctive Chimera conversions - including this one by Lanceradvanced:

So, it can definitely be done, but what great conversions like these don't show is that mounting the Immolator top on the Chimera leaves edges hanging over that need to be taken care of. In Lancer's case, it looks like he solved the issue with plasticard. In another conversion I've seen, it looks like the issue was solved by gluing stowage and using greenstuff to camoflage the edge. But it's certainly not the easy fit that I was hoping it would be.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack
