Does anyone have a FAQ link, or know the general ruling for Kolek Suneaters Weapon (Starcrusher) pg; 75.

The sentence is written completely different than an usual multiple wound weapon (like a cannon for example)?

The word "multiplied" is the confusion, and the fact that it does NOT mention multiple wound models.

For example; on single wound models; 7 Attacks, 5 hits, 4 wounds, none saved so, roll 4 D3 get 8 total, so 8 models removed???

Just like with other wound multiplication weapons, you can't do more wounds to a rank and file unit then it has. So all the extra wounds are wasted unless you are fighting multi-wound models like ogres, monsters or characters.

Yeh it seems like this question is one of 3 questions that always seem to come up. Maybe we should get a sticky post with the answers to those most common questions.

The WoC FAQ also confirmed that "Starcrusher" is the name of Kholek's magic weapon, not a general ability of his. So no multiplier on his lightning strikes
