Last time I checked it wasn't on the new US/UK GW site, so we need to rely on the archive site
http://web.archive.org/web/20080117050457/uk.games-workshop.com/thelordoftherings/battle-companies/1/

I got this off The Last Alliance forums I think, great place for LOTR gaming period.

Hope you enjoy, I find BC games a blast and a great way to explore tactics with a faction before trying them out in a bigger game. Also, its probably the role-player in me coming out as I see heroes grow, and the sadness when they occasionally need to be removed.

Speaking of which, anybody have a house rule/rules that deals with injuries to heroes eg arm, leg wounds? I've had more than one hero having to retire due to picking up 2 arm or leg wounds. Surely there must be a practical way to see if the wounds heal? I was trhinking of a dice roll each battle after the battle when the injury is sustained, or maybe it could be like the Old Battle Wound/Niggling Injury only that it is deemed to be healed on a D6 roll of 6 before a game. Or allow the player to use an Influence dice or more than one to check, each failed attempt adds 1 to the next roll etc. Or both combined.

My regular opponents and I already have a house rule to deal with failed attempts to advance - each failure adds 1 to the next dice roll, so it takes max 15 experience to upgrade a normal trooper, heroes become easier to come by too!

You might look into the Mordheim injury tables. The rules used to be free on the specialist games site.
