Custom storm bolter, the power weapon is broken atm and needs to be fixed, also needs to be finished in the painting, and some modeling to make him look more space wolf like.

Sorry, but this is ugly as all get out. I can barely even tell what it is...

And to above, celestine is a beautiful model, you did great!

Man,do guys ever stop complaining? Jeez, get off your high-horse. I can say whatever I want about his model. This is a forum,a place for opinions. It looks like he dipped some grey knight in acetone, then threw a bunch of bits on it. I've seen dollar-store action figures that look cooler than that. That's my opinion, there. Gonna whine about my it some more?

"Who the Heck(TM) are you to make a comment like that, Samus? And to tell him to "get out" because your subjective opinion is that his paintjob sucked? At least he HAS a paintjob, quite unlike you. I guess all your models come in the out-of-the-box concrete camo. Incredible that you can post a comment like that, on a painting-critique forum, without having posted ANYTHING yourself. JEEEEEEZ. "

Are you some kinda wise guy? "all-get-out" is a figure of speech meaning "unbelievably".That was a paintjob? I could hardly tell! I find your comment reveals more about you then you probably know..

Throw some more icons/aquilas/purity seals on there so we can tell its w40k

Judging from the tentacles and Plague marine I think it is meant to be a Nurgle Plague Tower. So in that case, it needs to be more Nurgly I guess.

Yeah,this.
Throw some green puke stains and green water effects on and you're good to go! Maybe some infested skeletons would be nice, like, with guts and stuff

Looks cool though. I like it better than that Grey knight monstrosity, if that's what you're implying. ^.^

And to the above: HOLY----

I can barely even recognize most of those pieces. Great job dude. The only pieces that ring a bell are the exhaust ports from the daemon prince..

Why thanks!
i used the new Hellhound kit. if you do make it, i want to see pics of it!

That new kit is pretty awesome. I'll have to try it once I get some extra cash. The hellhound has a really versatile frame, which is great for proxies!

Not really a conversion, but I used the dozer blade from the chaos tank sprue, and I sliced up a marine and maimed him on the blade. This is (For all intensive purposes) my first conversion, aside from some soldering experiments on gaunts. Pics later...Camera suxs...

I saw something interesting on this thread a whie back, but I can't find it now...The sprueanid? Someone made a hormaguant out of sprue pieces. It was sooo rad.

Nice use of slaves! I wish GW would make some actually naked slaves, instead of them wearing clothes. The DE would never leave clothes on them

I'm sorry, but why do so many people make 'tall' dreadnoughts/Defilers? They look awful on the tabletop, and just generally don't fit any sort of aesthetic....I see no point in wasting a perfectly good kit for something so dumb.

Just my opinion. I've seen about 12 such conversions lately... All of them were awful...

I have to agree here. I browsed through his thread, and basically everything is done the same.

It's a stupid idea in the first place bro. You're probably wasting more money on greenstuff and magnets than it would cost to just convert one and leave it that way. I'd probably just laugh if I saw it on the table, to be honest. It's barely even a playable model.

Samus_aran115 : because they look good also I fail to see how a big ass defiler is a waste of a good kit or a dumb idea. LOS seems better too seeing as he can see anything he wishes to blast

on a less argumental note the wazdakka model looks epic. did you use a normal ork bike for a base or something bigger?

Looks good? It looks absurd. Nothing in 40k looks even remotely similar to it. You want to spend 60$ to make a piece of crap that no one would let you use? I guess it's your money....If I was going to waste a defiler kit, I'd at least try to make a brass scorpion..

Anyway, You did a great job converting it. I do like the shoulders, and the position from the waist up looks pretty natural.

This one is good. I like it. It can serve an actual purpose, rather than being a 'shelf-warmer' as someone pointed out.

Thats fine, your attitude is more than apparent in basically every post that I've read.

As for the cost, I've got about 22 bucks invested so far....you're really overestimating the cost of materials. <shrug> I don't need to defend an extremely creative and ambitious first time major conversion or GS work that is less than halfway done to anyone, let alone someone with your obvious "elitist" attitude.

You are completely right, it would be VASTLY easier to pin one model and then paint it. I think you are missing the point though.

My bad bro. I'm really not feeling too good about something else. I like some of the conversions you've done a lot, and I didn't realize you would be trimming and cleaning up everything. I thought you were just leaving them like they are (Bulky joints). I magnetize my terminators too, and it's insanely usefull. I don't mean to insult the idea itself, just the execution. I apologize.

The only thing I think is silly is that youd even make power armored options Why would you even take a PA lord?
