so me and my cousin battled this past saturday... decided it would be apcolypse (altho 5k points was quite smal...) but i brought along 3 stompas, a looted stormlord, and 50 nobz with power klaws etc etc.... he brought 3 pylons and well... pretty much everything he had... the battle was interesting (we actually battled twice) but he started the first game with no pylons or his monolith on the board.... just troop... bad idea...so i got first turn... and with one super gatler (my favorite gun in whole game now) i layed over 200 shots killing his squad of warriors and all his immortals... my other super gatler did very little how ever. only killing some of his other squad of warriors and some destroyers... i was actualy quite upset with the first super gatler that layed over 200 shots because it left nothing to fire at with my upgrades (as this was my custom 1200 point stompa). then of coarse in assault i used my stompede and destroyed about all of the middle section of buildings on the table... leaving everything in my LoS... his turn was pointless. he tryd to throw a vortex grenade at meh stompaz... is flew the other way..... it didnt do anything the whole game except taking out 7 nobz the last turn (They were to far to hurt anything anyways) back to my turn i bring out my nobz all around the table (as my cousin likes to spread out his pylons...) next turn two pylons come out... nobz own them... then next turn his other pylon and monolith comes... my klaw stompa turns arround and owns the other pylon... in all my klaw stompa lost 2 structure points and i lost around 10 nobz... i massacred him and he had 1 necron warrior left... (how he rolled double ones on leadership test beats me... but he did...) lucky for him in apcolypse he cant phase out...

It was ok I guess but next time space it out in to paragraphs,maybe more on the army lists and split the turns up please.

well for the first battle... no... on the charge my nobz have 50 str 9 attacks... they think reaver titans are yummy

The ellipse is only intended for abbreviating quotations. Were I to quote your paragraph it would be appropriate to use an ellipse to bridge a section from the beginning with a section from the end. Please use one of the many fine punctuation marks to end your sentences. I recommend the period, which will adequately end any statement but a question.

lol!!! ya my bad.(..) i think it makes the sentences seem more(pause) intense. oh well... you know how long this sentence took me to write without using like 4 of those(pause) what ever those things are? lol like 10 minutes!

First of all, it's Ellipsis, not Ellipse.

Secondly, the Elipsis can also be used to indicate a pause, or a trailing off into silence.

So, Buttlerthepug was indeed using Ellipses properly, although excessively.
