I was thinking of turning the AoBR warboss into a Big Mek with a KFF because I don't want to put together a metal mini if at all possible. Anyone have a good idea for the actual KFF? I was gonna use a sentinel joystick for the controller or whatever you call the little bit that the metal is holding in his right hand, but as far as the actual generator I'm stumped.

Go with Plasticard.

Just make the back pack , and then the "jacob ladders" with plasticard poles with Plasticard Platters. The round nobby tings can be made with a little GS.

I know someone how used stormboy parts and it looked awsome also you could use a vox caster as base for the generator but it needs beefing up lots and also orkyifing

Laser cannons and Necron bitz might also be a good starting point.

Mek bitz from the loota box site might be good.

You could maybe build an antenna part from sprue - using those bits with a circle and four sprues coming out.

Cheap and cheerful if done well...
