Hi all.

Got a question about the WYSIWYG on Tau. What is the item shown in the photo below? My first guess was some kind of marker relating to the deep strike ability of the Stealth Suits. Then I thought it might be some supper sized Drone Controller or Targeting Array. But I really don't know. Being that 40k is keen on the WYSIWYG of it all, I'd like to get and idea of what I use this for. I've checked the Tao Codex and couldn't find it pictured. Maybe I need glasses?

It's either a positional relay or what pathfinders with rail rifles take... probably a positional relay.

Looks like a random gismo, you get them here and there. Could use it as an objective marker maybe?

Isn't that one of the Tau Command vehicle dohickies?

It's just an objective marker/counter that started coming in the newer style stealthsuit box sets and some battle kits.
